There's nothing worse than not being able to smile on your Big Day. Every year we see ladies who are too self-conscious about their teeth to go through with all the attention and photographs on their Wedding Day.

This competition is our way to make sure one lucky girl is brimming with dental confidence up the aisle and beyond. The Prize will go to someone who is ready for a cosmetic transformation. But we are also looking out for someone who has a special story or meaning connected to their smile or wedding

Terms & Conditions

Entrants are required to complete the competition form detailing personal information, the results they are looking for and why they feel they should win the Prize. Including photographs will help an application.

Closing date for applications is 01.05.2012 although a winner may be selected before that date.

Entrants selected by the management of Gentle Dental Care will be asked to come for a consultation at the practice to assess their suitability. The Consultation is free of charge. The Entrant maybe offered a Free dental makeover to see how they would look with their smile improved.

Entrant must be over 18 and get married before 15 July 2013.

The Management will choose a winner of the competition at their own discretion.

No negotiation will be entered into and no cash alternative to the Prize will be offered.

The winner will have a full examination and treatment will be agreed in advance of commencement.

The winner will receive cosmetic, or general dentistry up to the value of £5,000 to improve their smile. In addition the winner will; receive hygiene visits and check-ups as recommended by the treating dentist for 12 months following the completion of the treatment.

The Groom and chief bridesmaid of the winner will be offered a hygienist visit at no charge prior to the wedding.

If any lab fees are involved in treatment the winner will be liable to cover the cost of lab fees themselves. Gentle Dental Care will provide an estimate of any lab fees at the Consultation stage.

If the winner cancels their wedding or moves it out of the time frame set by Gentle Dental Care for the competition then the prize is null and void. If the winner is in the middle of treatment at that point, the winner will be liable for the normal cost of treatment provided up to that point.

The prize (treatment) will be provided on the assumption that the winner will attend regularly and in a timely fashion in order to complete the treatment in time for the wedding and according to the time frame outlined by the treating dentist.

The winner is expected to look after their mouth and follow home care advice as recommended by the treating dentist.

The winner can choose to join Gentle Dental Care as a patient long term or retain their own dentist.

The winner will agree to photographs of before, during and after treatment being published in Ulster Bride and possibly on other media chosen by Gentle Dental Care. This includes some photos of the winner and her groom in their bridal ware. Gentle Dental Care will pay for any photos used for their own promotional purposes. The winner will agree to be interviewed and give comment on the experience of treatment and their results for the purposes of publicity for Gentle Dental Care. The wedding and photographs must be completed before 15 July 2013. Images and articles remain property of Gentle Dental Care.
